3.1.2.6. Removal and installation of valves (dismantling of a head of the block)
THE GENERAL DATA

Considering from a camshaft drive, valves № 1, 3, 6, 8 – final, and valves № 2, 4, 5, 7 – inlet.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. By means of the special adaptation to compress springs of the valve and to remove crackers 15 (fig. the Head of the block of cylinders, a camshaft and valves see) from a valve core.
2. Weakening pressing the adaptation lever, to release valve springs. To remove the adaptation. To remove a plate of 6 springs, to take out external 5 and internal 4 springs of the valve.
3. To take out the valve 2 of the directing plug from outside combustion chambers.
4. To remove маслосъемные caps and a basic washer of a spring.
5. In the same order to remove other valves.
6. To clear a head and a core of the valve of a deposit.
7. To establish valves upside-down. To replace маслосъемные caps irrespective of their condition. Before installation to grease cores of valves and directing plugs with engine oil. It is possible to put on plastic plugs a valve core not to damage at valve installation маслосъемный a cap. After installation of crackers of the valve into place to remove the adaptation for compression of springs and to strike a hammer with a soft head on an end face of a core of the valve, to be convinced of correct installation of crackers. For engines of models DR and DS release till September, 1985 after installation of valves to check up and if it is necessary to adjust backlashes between cams of a camshaft and pushers of valves (subsection 3.1.2.8 see).
