3.1.2.1. Removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders

THE GENERAL DATA

Order of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders

The engine is removed from the car

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove the top cover 8 (fig. of the Detail of a drive of a camshaft see) camshaft drive. 2. To turn away eight nuts and to uncover 11 heads of the block of cylinders (fig. the Four-cylinder engine see). 3. To remove an inlet pipe and a final collector. 4. To turn a cranked shaft for a pulley so that the piston of 1st cylinder has risen in the top dead point (century of m. т.) a compression step (both valves are closed). Thus the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft coincides with an arrow on the bottom cover of a drive of a camshaft, and a label on a camshaft cogwheel – with a label on the top cover of a drive of a camshaft (or with the top plane of a lining of a cover of a head of cylinders on the left side of the engine), as is shown in drawing. 5. Definitively to turn away a nut 16 and to remove натяжитель 15 belts. 6. To turn away a bolt of fastening of a back cover 10 drives of a camshaft to a head of the block of cylinders. 7. To turn away bolts of 14 fastenings of a head 15 blocks of cylinders. Bolts to turn on in regular intervals in an order, the return specified in fig. the Order of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders. 8. To remove a head of the block of cylinders. 9. To remove a lining of 7 heads of the block. 10. To establish a head of the block of cylinders upside-down. Thus it is necessary to replace a lining of 7 heads of the block and a lining of 9 covers of a head of the block of cylinders. The lining 7 should be established on a surface of the block of cylinders upwards by words "OBEN-TOP". To tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence shown on fig. the Order of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders, in three stages: 1st stage – 40 Н·м (4,0 кгс·м); 2nd stage – 60 Н·м (6,0 кгс·м); 3rd stage – to tighten further on a half-turn (180 °).

The engine on the car

In need of grinding in or replacement of valves, removals of a deposit from walls of chambers of combustion, replacement of a lining of a head of the block of cylinders, etc. it is possible to remove a block head, without dismantling the engine from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery. 2. To merge a liquid from cooling system (subsection 4.1 subitem 1-3 see). 3. To remove the generator (subsection 12.1.3.1 subitem 2-7 see). 4. To turn away a reception pipe of the muffler from a final collector (cм. Subsection 5.1 item 1). 5. To remove an inlet pipe and a final collector. 6. To disconnect wires of a high voltage and to turn out candles. 7. To disconnect from a head of the block of an electricity cable, ropes and hoses, preliminary having marked them. 8. To remove a head of the block of cylinders (the Engine see it is removed from subitem 1-9 car).
