1. To remove brake Pads (subsection 10.8 see) if the cylinder does not act in film from the car. |
2. To pick up cautiously screw-driver and to remove protective caps (fig. the Wheel brake cylinder see) from both parties of the cylinder. |
3. To take out from the case of the cylinder pistons with cuffs and a spring. |
4. To wash out details of the wheel brake cylinder a pure brake liquid and to dry. |
5. The cylinder mirror should not have рисок, bowls and the corrosion centres. In the presence of the given defects it is necessary to replace the cylinder. On carving parts of the cylinder there should not be mechanical damages. |
6. Cuffs of the wheel cylinder should be elastic and elastic. The fragmentary, inflated and hardened cuffs, and also risks having on working surfaces, it is necessary to replace. Protective caps also should be elastic and elastic. It is obligatory to replace the fragmentary, inflated and hardened caps in order to avoid hit of a dirt and water in the wheel cylinder. |
7. The surfaces of pistons contacting to a mirror of the cylinder, should not have traces of unilateral deterioration. Otherwise it is recommended to replace the wheel cylinder in gathering. |
8. The carving of a tip of a brake tube should not have mechanical damages. On the tip union there should not be cracks and traces of visible deformation. |
9. To weaken an inhaling of the valve of release of air. |
10. To establish on the cuff piston. Working edges of cuffs should be directed in the cylinder. To grease pistons with cuffs a brake liquid and an internal surface of the cylinder a fresh brake liquid. |
11. To insert into the cylinder the piston on the left side. |
12. To establish a protective cap. It should be put on hardly a head of the piston and a seat on the case. |
13. To insert on the right side into the cylinder a spring and to turn away the valve of release of air. Then to insert the second piston and to establish a protective cap. |
14. To wrap the valve of release of air. |
15. To establish brake Pads, a brake drum and a wheel. |
16. After installation it is necessary to pump over the repaired brake mechanism (subsection 10.15 see). |
17. To squeeze out against the stop a pedal of a brake for self-regulation of the brake mechanism. |
